Solar Gye Nyame
Solar Gye Nyame - The Supremacy of God and the solar power of our Star.

This Adinkra symbol, Gye Nyame, meaning “except for God,” symbolises God’s omnipotence through the knowledge that people should not fear anything except for God. Another interpretation is that no one has seen the beginning of all creations, nor will anyone live to see the end, except for God.

Adinkra symbols are visual symbols that originated in West Africa, specifically in the Kingdom of Ashanti in present-day Ghana. They are used in cloth, pottery, jewellery, and as symbols to communicate specific concepts or ideas.
